How to Help!
How you, your business or your organization can
help the Dawson Creek Society for Community Living.
The Dawson Creek Society for Community Living is always looking for new members to join our non-profit society. We assist people with disabilities to become full community participants through training, education, support and advocacy.
By becoming a member, you will receive the following benefits:
- Invitations to special events, workshops and support meetings
- Invitation and voting rights at Dawson Creek Society for Community Living’s Annual General Meeting
Any person supportive of the objectives, goals and projects of the society is welcome to apply for membership. All membership applications are approved by the Board of Directors.
The heart of the Dawson Creek Society for Community Living is you!
Very simply put, “Planned Giving” is gift planning. It means creating a charitable gift now that goes to an organization you love in the future. It is usually a part of your Will and your donation could offset taxes on your estate.
Make a gift of cash or property by including Dawson Creek Society for Community Living as a beneficiary in your Will.
It’s one of the simplest planned gifts to arrange and it can significantly reduce the tax paid by your estate.
You can make a larger gift than you might expect possible by naming Dawson Creek Society for Community Living as the owner and beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy.
A gift of life insurance is separate from your estate and has no effect on its assets.
Did you know there are additional benefits to donating securities?
If you are considering how to give to Dawson Creek Society for Community Living and if you own securities that have appreciated significantly in value, you can derive additional benefit by donating them directly to our charity rather than donating cash!
Monthly or Yearly Donation
